Questions and answers

Answers about store development, project materials, timelines, account access and website support. Find out how to start working with Web-Squad.

These are useful questions to discuss before a project starts. We agree the specifics after reviewing your requirements.

What kinds of websites do you build?

Our main focus is online stores on WordPress. We also build business websites and work on existing sites. See our services for the main areas.

What do you need for an initial conversation?

A short description of your business, the website’s purpose and your contact details. Add an existing website, examples or a feature list if available. Our project brief helps collect the details.

What determines the price?

Structure, features, integrations, content volume and the materials already available. Starting terms are on the service pages; we agree the project cost before work begins. Domain, hosting and paid third-party services are considered separately.

Can a website launch in 72 hours?

A simple project based on a ready-made solution can fit this format when all materials and access are available. We first check suitability and agree a timeline. Custom integrations and large catalogues require their own estimate.

Do I need all the text and images first?

Not for an initial estimate. During preparation we identify the logo, contact details, company information and product materials needed. Copywriting and catalogue entry can be scoped separately.

Who keeps the website and account access?

The business owner should retain access to the website, domain and hosting. At handover we explain how the website is managed and which services require renewal.

Do I have to move to another host?

We build the new website on KotoHosting, our own hosting project. Once it is ready, you choose whether it stays there or we move it to your preferred host. See website hosting.

Do you support websites built by someone else?

Yes. We review the site’s condition and available access before agreeing the work. Ongoing care, one-off repairs and new features have different scopes. Read about website support.

What happens after launch?

We hand over access and explain the basic day-to-day tasks. Regular updates and checks can be covered by a separately agreed support arrangement.
